THE COPELANDS
Jeff and Monica Copeland have been serving in local church ministry since 1990. Jeff and Monica have two daughters, Anna Marie and Alexis. The Copelands spent most of their ministry at First Baptist Church of Robertsdale, where Jeff's service as Senior Pastor began in 1999. After announcing his transition to Kingdom Bridges on February 6, Pastor Jeff officially ended his nearly 23-year ministry at the church on Sunday, March 27.
Kingdom Bridges flowed from decades of ministry on the mission field in Europe. He has served in Europe for over 20 years, leading teams and building partnerships with churches and non-profit groups in Moldova, Spain, Austria, and Ukraine. Through the years, the mission work grew, and it became hard for Jeff to lead a growing church and do the mission work. The missions had grown, so he could no longer effectively serve as a church pastor. The Lord calls the Copelands to devote their lives to serving Jesus by bridging relationships that bring heaven to earth in Eastern Europe. With the congregation's support and many supporters of his ministry through the years, Pastor Jeff devotes his life to building bridges between churches and ministries in America and those in areas of suffering worldwide, trusting God to bring heaven to earth one partnership at a time (Matt. 6:10).
The Copeland's officially launched Kingdom Bridges in April of 2022. Since then, Jeff has spent over 100 days on the field, building connections that have a significant impact. The first two bridges developed are Serve Moldova and Serve Ukraine. These bridges have developed a network of over 50 churches and ministries working together to impact the lives of tens of thousands annually in these countries. When not traveling overseas, Jeff is ministering in churches in America and working with his team to develop the vision of Kingdom Bridges.
According to Ion Miron, the leader of the largest evangelical denomination in Moldova, Jeff's leadership and presence in the region have a kingdom impact: "Having Pastor Jeff here with us is a source of great encouragement and renewal; We need Jeff here ministering!"
