THE COPELANDS
Since 1990, Jeff and Monica Copeland have dedicated their lives to the spiritual guidance and enrichment of their community through local church ministry. Alongside their two daughters, Anna Marie and Alexis, they've woven a fabric of faith and service, primarily through their longstanding commitment at First Baptist Church of Robertsdale. Jeff's tenure as Senior Pastor, beginning in 1999, culminated in a transformative 23-year journey, concluding with his heartfelt transition to Kingdom Bridges on March 27, 2022 following his announcement on February 6, 2022.
Kingdom Bridges emerged from Jeff's profound and enduring engagement on the European mission field, spanning over two decades of leadership, collaboration, and partnership with churches and non-profit organizations across Moldova, Spain, Austria, and Ukraine. This mission work, burgeoning under Jeff's stewardship, reached a pivotal moment where leading a growing church and fulfilling the expanding demands of mission work became unsustainable. Answering a divine call, the Copelands have embraced a full-time commitment to Kingdom Bridges, aiming to see Jesus Kingdom Come and Will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matt. 6:10) by fostering relationships and partnerships that span continents.
Launched in April 2022, Kingdom Bridges represents not only a new chapter in their ministry but a testament to the Copelands' unwavering devotion. Jeff's efforts have already led to over 100 days in the field, establishing critical connections that yield tangible impacts through initiatives like Serve Moldova and Serve Ukraine, uniting more than 50 churches and ministries to touch the lives of thousands each year.
In the heart of war-torn Ukraine, our Serve Ukraine initiative is making monumental strides, providing thirty churches and their pastors with crucial financial support. This aid is not just financial—it's a lifeline, delivering generators, food, coats, blankets, Bibles, medicine, and, most importantly, the tangible love of Jesus. Amidst the devastation, these churches are burgeoning, becoming sanctuaries where countless individuals find hope and salvation. Through Kingdom Bridges, these congregations extend their reach to minister to tens of thousands each month, witnessing the emergence of beauty from the ruins of conflict.
In Moldova, our efforts are equally transformative, especially through our leadership of the PATH Network and the establishment of the Summit Center. This innovative network, forged from partnerships with ten ministry entities, is dedicated to supporting at-risk orphaned teens on the brink of dire futures—trafficking, addiction, incarceration, or suicide. Our mission is to divert these vulnerable youths from a trajectory of despair to one of hope and prosperity. By establishing residential homes, providing life skills training, counseling, education, job preparation, and discipleship within a nurturing church family environment, we're laying the groundwork for a transformative shift. Starting with homes for both girls and boys and the upcoming launch of the Summit Center in Fall 2024, we're committed to expanding our network and ensuring these young lives are redirected towards a path of resilience, self-sufficiency, and abundant living. Through these initiatives, we're not just changing lives; we're reshaping futures.
Ion Miron, a prominent evangelical leader in Moldova, attests to Jeff's transformative influence in the region, describing Jeff's impact in the video below.
While on home soil, Jeff's passion for igniting faith and action within American churches doesn't wane. He dedicates himself to sharing and expanding the vision of Kingdom Bridges alongside his devoted team. Jeff's engagements at various churches are more than just visits; they're catalysts for revival and transformation. He brings words of encouragement and life, inspiring congregations to recognize and harness the powerful movement of the Lord within their midst.
Jeff's commitment to the American church is deep-rooted, shaped by three decades of faithful service to local congregations. His heart beats with a desire to uplift and empower these churches, helping them to grasp the transformative power of Jesus Christ—a power that propels them to make a significant impact, from their immediate neighborhoods to the far reaches of the globe.
This mission comes to life through his innovative "Kingdom Now Sundays" and "Kingdom Now weekends." These special events are designed to foster a deeper understanding and commitment among believers, encouraging them to live out the Kingdom of God here and now. Through these gatherings, Pastor Jeff not only shares his profound insights and experiences but also mobilizes churches to become beacons of hope and agents of change in a world in desperate need of the Gospel.
As the Copelands pursue the call of Jesus, they extend an invitation for support—through prayer, speaking engagements, or financial contributions. Your involvement can bolster their journey, empowering them to fulfill Jesus' call on their lives. Join them in this faith-filled adventure, keeping their family uplifted in prayer as they labor to see heaven touch earth by bridging kingdom connections.
