Thank You Island Church for joining with Kingdom Bridges to Touch Thousands of Lives with the Good News of Jesus this Winter
The call of the church is to be the Body of Christ on earth. As the Body of Christ, we are his hands and feet, reaching out to those in need. This winter, Kingdom Bridges is seeking to be the hands and feet of Jesus in Ukraine.
For over two years, conflict has ravaged Ukraine, crippling its power grid, shattering its economy, and restricting access to the simplest of necessities. In response, through our network of 30 partnering churches, Kingdom Bridges is excited Island Church is joining us in a critical collection drive.
Our 'Hands and Feet of Jesus' campaign is committed to gathering 10,000 new or gently used items—shoes, socks, and gloves—essential for enduring the harsh Ukrainian winter. Your gifts will be shipped in a container, timed to arrive before winter's peak, ensuring they make the greatest impact.
Pastor Jeff and our dedicated team from the Serve Ukraine Church Network will personally distribute these items, accompanied by a Gospel messages of hope, a loving visit, and prayer. It is our desire to visit those in their distress as taught in James 1:27.
Island Church you are a part of this effort of seeing heaven touch earth one loving witness at a time. The first three Sundays of September you can promote the project using the video and graphics included on this page. Then the last two Sundays of September the 22nd and 29th will be when the church family brings the items.
