The Copelands
Jeff and Monica Copeland have been serving in local church ministry since 1990. The Copelands spent most of their ministry at First Baptist Church of Robertsdale, where Jeff's service as Senior Pastor began in 1999. After announcing his transition to Kingdom Bridges on February 6, Pastor Jeff officially ended his nearly 23-year ministry at the church on Sunday, March 27.
Kingdom Bridges flowed from decades of ministry on the mission field in Europe. He has been serving in Europe for more than 20 years, leading teams and building partnerships with churches and non-profit groups in Moldova, Spain, Austria, and Ukraine. Through the years, the mission work grew, and it became hard for Jeff to lead a growing church and do the mission work. The missions had grown to the point where he could no longer effectively serve as a church pastor. The Lord's call on the Copelands is to devote their lives to serving Jesus by bridging relationships that bring heaven to earth in Eastern Europe. With the congregation's support, he will give his life to building bridges between churches and ministries in America and those in areas of suffering worldwide, trusting God to bring heaven to earth one partnership at a time (Matt. 6:10).
The first bridge is well underway through an effort called "Serve Ukraine." Since the beginning of the war, Jeff has made multiple trips to the region, delivering food and medical care to war-torn areas and establishing shelters to house thousands of Ukrainian refugees.
According to Ion Muron, the leader of the largest evangelical denomination in Moldova, Jeff's leadership and presence in the region have a kingdom impact: "Having Pastor Jeff here with us is a source of great encouragement and renewal; We need Jeff here ministering!"
As Pastor Jeff and his family answer God's call, he invites support through prayer, inviting Jeff to speak at your church, or give, whether a one-time donation or a monthly pledge for two years. You can use the links below to give, register for the banquet, or request Pastor Jeff to speak. Keep their family in your prayers as they step out in faith, following Jesus' call upon their lives.
